About Me

I chose the name Still A Dreamer for this blog because I always have been a dreamer and always will be. I was the child with her head in the clouds, the one who loved to read and write and draw, who gazed out the window and dreamed of what might be.

As I grew and evolved, I developed these skills to help make a difference to others. Although I do not actively work in these professions today, I am, nonetheless, an art therapist, a teacher, a psychoanalyst, and a fundraising director on behalf of abandoned and abused animals.

I am now, and will always be, an artist, a writer, a graphic designer. I am an educator in a different way than in the past, and I believe, in my heart, I will always be a rescue person.

As a published author and illustrator, I continue to devote my efforts to reaching children through picture books; I want to help them know that there’s a place for them to dream and grow, too.

In different ways, and with people of all ages, I do what I can to share hope and joy, and reason to know, to remember, that we are all in this boat together. It is by believing that love is the one and only enduring power in the world that we will create the peace we long for.

I am Still A Dreamer. I hope my words will inspire the dreamer in you, too.
