My love Miss Kitty left this life May fifth of last year at the age of fifteen. I blogged about her passing…the thing about profound loss…and weep still. She was my love, my muse, my significant other for eleven years. Although I have cared for cats most of my adult life, Miss Kitty was the only kitty who chose me. Our relationship was profound. Mewsette was truly another beauty who graced your life. Thanks for sharing this fine memo rail.

Thank you, Diane. It seems there is always one who is very special, to whom we are connected in a way that is different, who touches our soul in an inexplicable way. They add something immeasurable to our lives, and for this, yes, we will be grateful long after they are gone. How lucky you had Miss Kitty, me, Mewsette.
