Except she’s made of stone and seems to prefer the outdoors! 😉

I was referring to the kitty foot prints…;-)

I know … I was just kidding. In addition to next door’s two cats, there are several others in the neighborhood who are out during the day and sometimes at night. Most of them stay away during the day because I’m around and chase them away from the food I put out for “mu” two, or Pumpkin does the job. This was most likely a night visitor.

What a fun post Jeanne! Tiny perfect pawprints in the snow. Makes us playfully wonder what statues might come to life under the light of the full moon. 😉 Cheers, Gina

I like to think she’s up and about, and peacefully sleeping when I getup each day. Just this morning, putting out recycling, I saw these same prints in the light snow and noticed, he/she is a polydactyl!

That is so cool…. and as I look closer one can actually notice it in these pics too! A fun little mystery. I do adore animal prints in the snow, seeing who went where overnight. Oh and this statue really is one of the sweetest I’ve ever seen. So cute!

There is a young doe in the area who travels alone, never with the local small “herd.” Only when it snows can I see her hoof prints and that she travels the same path all the time … around the back of the property, through a particular spot in the tall bushes and in a diagonal across my driveway. This winter, with all the snow, she has just about decimated the tall shrubbery, too.
