Noticing in Times of Abuse

A gun held to the head of another, albeit lowered, the trigger not pulled, is no less of an abuse, whether to a country or an individual.

However, we can still choose to notice beauty around us, and hope together for a more loving and harmonious world.

  1. So beautiful, thank you. Yesterday I took a long walk to notice all the flowers blooming here in NYC – how many petals each type of flower has, how the shading of the colors vary… it can help us remember nature’s loveliness and our own in these difficult times.

    • My pleasure, J.J. It’s important that we not get lost in the craziness that’s going on and over which we have no control. Finding the beauty already around us is at least some small way to offset it. I love that you count the petals.

  2. These pictures take us away temporarily from the β€œmessy” world we live in and remind us that there is beauty and hope out there if we look for it. Thank you! Love you.❀️❀️
